Paul Gauguin Cruises has been part of the French shipping company PONANT since 2019. With her relaxed, cosmopolitan character, she fits perfectly into the fleet. In 2024, she now sets off on 33 itineraries to the heart of Tahiti, French Polynesia and the South Pacific. What the luxury cruise to the South Pacific looks like.

Elegance and Exotic – inside and outside

Le Paul Gauguin is an intimate experience. There is room for only 330 guests. A total of 209 crew members look after their well-being. It is clear that this guarantees maximum service. The ship impresses with its elegance and manoeuvrability. Spacious suites, a wonderful spa and three restaurants provide variety on board. All of the 165 cabins and suites have sea views. Most have a balcony or veranda.

A key advantage is that Le Paul Gauguin was built specifically for luxury cruising in the South Seas. She brings the exoticism of the “outdoors” indoors as well. The interior reflects the style of Polynesia. On board are, among other things, a marina with various water sports facilities, a grand salon, a piano bar, pool and a boutique.

Cruising trough the South Pacific

During a luxury cruise in the South Pacific, one thing must not be missing, of course: Snorkelling and water sports. However, great importance is also attached to the discovery of local traditions. UNESCO World Heritage Sites are on the itinerary, as is a visit to the idyllic private island of Motu Mahana.
