For a long time – a whole five years – we had to be patient. Because already in 2017, Ritz Carlton announced the construction of three luxurious yachts. Not only fans of the brand, but also cruise enthusiasts of all genders were more than mildly interested. Now there is a date for the maiden voyage and the first pictures of the Ritz Carlton Luxury Yacht.
On Bord of Ritz Carlton’s first Luxury Yacht
She bears the melodious name “Evrima” and is 190 metres long. The dark blue yacht lies elegantly on the water. Her white, semi-circular superstructures look almost like icing on the cake. And in fact they are only the crowning glory of a total work of art. On board, you will find exactly the luxury you are used to from Ritz Carlton. This begins with the cabins – which should not really be called cabins. Rather, they are suites at sea. A total of 149 of them are available. They are all equipped with phenomenal beds and relatively spacious bathrooms. All suites have a private balcony.
The interior design is elegant; the muted colours inside underline what is happening in front of the windows. They are floor-to-ceiling, which on the one hand ensures light-flooded rooms. And on the other hand, it allows sightseeing from the bed. If you prefer something larger, it is best to book one of the loft-like suites that extend over two decks. Or simply combine several adjacent suites. It goes without saying that all the details, from the thread count of the bed linen to the amenities, are of the highest quality, doesn’t it? In principle, Ritz Carlton is now taking its five-star luxury to the sea with the “Evrima”.
Evrima’s Extras
For relaxation in between, the Ritz Carlton luxury yacht has a spa in keeping with its standards. It will make every sea day a pleasure with ESPA products and treatments. Another hotspot is definitely the infinity pool. Or perhaps the Marina Terrace? The latter is a kind of private beach with direct access to the water. “Toys” like jet skis are of course available for tours. If that’s still not enough action for you, you can go to the gym. Working out with a sea view – what could be better?
The “Evrima” is also equipped with an observation deck and a living room. A top-class entertainment programme provides variety. What is also immediately noticeable is that there are spacious open areas on all decks. Here you can hold your nose in the breeze, watch the sunset and toast it with a cocktail. Speaking of: The Ritz Carlton luxury yacht follows an all-inclusive concept. You go on a journey without a care in the world. Internet, concierge, all drinks, the excellent food and the water sports experiences are already included.
With the S.E.A., the “Evrima” also has a small culinary temple on board. The chef is none other than Sven Elverfeld. The German chef, known from the three Michelin-starred “Aqua” in the Ritz Carlton Wolfsburg, conjures up delicacies in the galley.
Sail Away
So while the beautiful scenery passes by outside – the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, South or Central America, depending on the season and route – you enjoy excellent drinks and gourmet cuisine. Because the luxury yacht from Ritz Carlton is comparatively small and manoeuvrable, it can also be used to sail to popular ports such as Mykonos, Saint-Tropez or St. Barts. Either you join a carefully curated “Shore Excursion” or you set off on your own for an excursion. To make it unique and unforgettable, you can have it tailor-made by the Concierge Ashore service.
November 2022 in Lissabon/Portugal. Sie segelt unter maltesischer Flagge. Als Bauwerft fungierte Hijos de J. Barreras in Spanien.
