Lush<\/em> is one of our absolute favorite companies. If you want to be sure that your daily body care routine<\/strong> doesn\u2019t harm people, the environment, or animals\u2014but still want to pamper yourself\u2014you\u2019ll turn to this British company\u2019s<\/strong> products. The selection ranges from body lotions and bath bombs to shampoo, lip care, and perfume. Sparkly, colorful, fragrant, and eco-friendly: we love it! LUSH<\/strong> has now treated itself to a store upgrade and opened a new location on Mariahilfer Stra\u00dfe at the end of August. You\u2019ll find it at number 38, and it now also features an event space<\/strong> for workshops and parties. <\/p>\n\n

September 2: The Murder Mystery Dinner at the Rathauskeller<\/h2>\n\n

The combination of culinary delights and an interactive theater experience<\/strong> is back for another round. While guests enjoy a multi-course meal in the Rathauskeller, a thrilling mystery unfolds right before their eyes. During the meal, guests can get involved as amateur detectives<\/strong> and put their investigative skills to the test. On September 10, 2026, the professional theater troupe will perform \u201cMurder and Death at the Gasthof zur Zapfs\u00e4ule.\u201d<\/em> Tickets start at approximately \u20ac95 per person .<\/em> <\/p>\n\n

Clemens Waschkau, Jonathan Frimpong-Ansah, and Kenny Pajaziti\u2014all three well-known figures<\/strong> in Vienna\u2019s culinary scene\u2014took over the cocktail bar Le Pigalle<\/em> at Praterstra\u00dfe 9 in early August. Business will continue as usual until the <\/strong>official relaunch in mid-September <\/strong>, but the new concept is being implemented step by step. In the future, the bar will offer all kinds of new delicacies, ranging from French sparkling wines to the finest sourdough bread (from the bakery across the street) paired with a variety of butter creations. <\/p>\n\n

There’s a newcomer on the scene: it’s called sophie7<\/em> and is a mix of bar, restaurant, event space, and neighborhood hangout. Located in the<\/strong> historic Kenyon Pavilion<\/strong> in the former Sophienspital, starting September 8, 206, you can enjoy seasonal vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as meat and fish. Stephan Zuber<\/strong> is in charge of the kitchen; he\u2019s a veteran of the fine-dining scene. After all, he has previously worked at Atelier Jo\u00ebl Robuchon, with <\/em> H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Darroze<\/em>, with Alain Ducasse, and <\/em>at the Hotel Adlon.<\/em> Sommelier Roman Bolschetz is in charge of the carefully curated beverage menu. Also standout features are<\/strong> the creative spaces in the attic, co-working areas, and a beautiful terrace. <\/p>\n\n

September 27: The Ritz-Carlton Brunch Affair<\/h2>\n\n

For many, The Ritz-Carlton Brunch Affair<\/strong><\/em> is a highlight in its own right. This fall, guests once again have the opportunity to experience the entire hotel as a stage for the finest culinary artistry and select specialties. The atmosphere is elegant and unique<\/strong>, and the ingredients reflect the season. The dynamic brunch experience, featuring live cooking stations, spans from the Pastamara – Bar Con Cucina<\/em>, where Mediterranean-inspired flavors take center stage, to the D-bar<\/strong> with its cheese specialties, homemade bread, charcuterie, and pastries, and to the Dstrikt Steakhouse<\/strong>. Of course, steak is served here, but there are also oysters and seafood. Brunch will be served on September 27, 2026<\/strong>, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets start at \u20ac145 per person. <\/p>\n\n
