The city\u2019s hotel scene is quite diverse, offering everything from absolute luxury to hostels. <em>The Chill Report<\/em> recently visited <strong>Hoxton Vienna<\/strong> in the Austrian capital to <strong>check it<\/strong> out. The hotel positions itself in the upscale lifestyle segment.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"location\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Location<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Hoxton Vienna<\/strong> is located in the 3rd district\u2014making it perfectly situated for just about everything. Take, for example, public transportation from the airport. Thanks to the nearby <em>City Airport Train<\/em> terminal, this is super convenient, traffic-free, and fast. Whether you take public transportation or a taxi, you\u2019ll be there in <strong>about half an hour<\/strong>. Just a few steps from the hotel, the sprawling Stadtpark is perfect for jogging or taking a stroll.    <\/p>\n\n<iframe id=\"stay22-widget\" width=\"100%\" height=\"428\" src=\"https:\/\/stay22.com\/embed\/6a4a24fb89ca33da7284b8d5\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To get to the sights in the inner city, all you really have to do is cross the street. The Ringstrasse, St. Stephen\u2019s Cathedral, K\u00e4rntner Strasse, and the Opera House are all within <strong>easy walking <\/strong>distance, but you can also simply take one of the many trams that stop <strong>nearby<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"style-character\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Style & Character<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Hoxton<\/strong> in Vienna is located in a historic building constructed in the 1950s by architect Carl Appel. It combines mid-century aesthetics with stylistic elements of the Wiener Werkst\u00e4tte. Both are reflected in rich textures, geometric shapes, and <strong>playful tiles<\/strong>. As a tribute to the past, the original railings with black rubber handrails, the original door handles, and the iconic terrazzo floor have been preserved.     <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"rooms-suites\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rooms & Suites<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 196 rooms and suites were created across five categories. The smallest of them, called \u201cShoebox,\u201d measure about 13 square meters, while the most spacious, \u201cRoomy,\u201d offer about 26 square meters. From here, there\u2019s a view of the streets of Vienna; the bathroom is very spacious and features a rain shower. In the lobby, guests are greeted by a tall, light-filled space with <strong>cozy seating areas<\/strong> and plenty of plants. Beautifully designed lighting installations and plush furnishings bring the style of the 1950s indoors. The <em>Bouvier<strong> <\/strong><\/em>Bistro, and a basement bar round out the lower levels. Hotel guests who want to use the pool can do so in peace between 7 and 9 a.m. For later times, poolside spots can be booked online\u20142.5 hours cost a hefty \u20ac50 per person. Laptops <strong>aren\u2019t allowed<\/strong>, and after 2.5 hours, an additional \u20ac15 is charged. There are also hot <strong>items available \u00e0 la carte<\/strong>. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the food impresses with its flavor and freshness. At <strong>Cayo Coco<\/strong> on the rooftop, Cuban-inspired snacks are served starting at 5 p.m.\u2014think avocado gazpacho or Cuban fries. The fact that it has a pool is also worth highlighting. That\u2019s still a rarity among Vienna\u2019s city hotels.
