It takes a little longer by cab. Those arriving by public transport can look forward to a <strong>direct connection<\/strong> via the Piccadilly Line. Green Park station is just a few meters away. The hotel is located in Half Moon Street, a quiet side street off Piccadilly Street. The location is just perfect! If you want to go for a run or a walk, for example, you can do so almost endlessly in the greenery. <strong>Green Park<\/strong>, St. James Park and the expansive Hyde Park surround this corner of London.       <\/p>\n\n<center><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d4384.698493415365!2d-0.14772842376459236!3d51.506444871813045!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x48760528dd211a43%3A0x36a008cdbd80356f!2sFlemings%20Mayfair!5e1!3m2!1sde!2sat!4v1734507866418!5m2!1sde!2sat\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"><\/iframe><\/center>\n\n<p>But the sights are not far away either. In fact, pretty much everything is within walking distance. For example, <strong>Wellington Arch<\/strong>, <strong>Buckingham Palace<\/strong>, Big Ben, Westminster Palace, and of course Oxford Street and Regent Street. <strong>Fortnum &amp; Mason<\/strong> and Harrods are also within easy walking distance. The surrounding Mayfair district is known as a luxurious residential and shopping area. We visited <g id=\"gid_3\">London during Advent<\/g>, a time when the stores in Mayfair are particularly <g id=\"gid_4\">lavish<\/g>. In short: the location is perfect for everything you have planned.     <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"style-character\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Style &amp; Character<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Flemings Mayfair<\/strong> is a luxurious boutique hotel that is enchanting even from the outside. It is not a soulless block or even a new building. On the contrary. Founded in 1851 by Robert Fleming, it is one of the <strong>oldest hotels in the city<\/strong>. A total of 13 Georgian townhouses from the early 18th century were combined to form a single unit. The ensemble is extremely harmonious. You enter the hotel through a portico flanked by columns. The Georgian elegance is continued in the lobby. This is continued in the interior with <strong>bronze and gray tones<\/strong>. Velvet, brass, marble and dark wood complement the interior design. Custom-made furniture and impressive lighting not only create a <strong>glamorous ambience<\/strong>, but also character. In the Drawing Room, for example, you can admire hand-painted wall panels. There is even a twinkle in the eye. Our <em>Flemings Mayfair experience <\/em>was provided by a three-day stay in <strong>Junior Suite 216 <\/strong>, which impressed both with its size and its tasteful design. A huge bed formed the center of the sleeping area, in which an exceptionally beautiful lamp provided the lighting mood. The bathtub is a particular delight here. After all, what could be better than sinking into a fragrant, warm bath after a long day of shopping? Care products from <em>Asprey London<strong> <\/strong><\/em>(Purple Water!) were available in the suite. Beauty aficionados will be familiar with the brand. After all, it <strong>has been<\/strong> a classic British luxury brand <strong>since 1781<\/strong>. A detail we particularly love.      <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button cs-button-animated\" href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/shorts\/mQhBXNEY4wM?feature=share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span><span>To the Roomtour video<\/span><span>To the Roomtour video<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 id=\"food-drink\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Food &amp; Drink<\/h2>\n\n<p>To the left of the lobby is the aforementioned <strong>Drawing Room<\/strong>. This is where guests retire in the afternoon for a stylish afternoon tea, leaf through the heavy illustrated books and indulge in <g id=\"gid_1\">sweet delicacies<\/g> from the hotel&#8217;s own bakery. The same room is used for breakfast and the Michelin-starred <g id=\"gid_2\">Ormer Mayfair<\/g> Restaurant. It is also beautiful. Solid wooden chairs, large round and small square tables, <g id=\"gid_3\">coffered ceilings <\/g>and black and white patterned tiles lend the room elegance. The only downside is that the espresso was a bit long in coming, which actually made it a depresso. In our experience, however, this very much depends on what time you turn up. The evening was simply terrific, which of course has to do with the creative cuisine of Michelin-starred chef <strong>Sofian Msetfi<\/strong>. But it was also down to the service team, especially our witty and attentive sommelier <strong>Piotr Sikorski <\/strong>. Each course was characterized by precision, both in terms of taste and presentation. As a <strong>refreshing contrast<\/strong>, the atmosphere in the restaurant is cheerful and informal. People laugh, talk and enjoy themselves. As we hate nothing more than the reverent silence that often prevails at hotel breakfasts and in Michelin-starred restaurants, we were delighted by the relaxed atmosphere here. A <strong>detailed review <\/strong>of the <em>Ormer Mayfair<\/em> will follow.       <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"equipment-services\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment &amp; Services<\/h2>\n\n<p>In addition to the restaurant, bar and drawing room, this boutique hotel in London also has a gym. It is <strong>beautifully designed <\/strong>(the wallpaper!) and open from 6 am to 10 pm. You work out on new TechnoGym equipment. This includes a Power Plate, two treadmills, a bike, rowing machine, free weights and strength machines. <g id=\"gid_1\">A personal trainer<\/g> can be booked on request. In our opinion, the location is one of the best in the whole city. Precisely because you are close enough to the sights and shopping opportunities and can still enjoy <g id=\"gid_3\">a lot of peace and quiet<\/g>.
